Organic Clothing? Yes Please!

13886943_1030202040403872_5280080709319230821_nNowadays it’s easier to find more options in the market that are kinder to the earth, but guys, I had never hear about organic clothing. Yes, organic clothing… When I say organic I do not mean that you can eat it silly lol. I mean that it can actually biodegrade after the use and abuse of being worn. Let me explain to you.

Usually, when we talk about clothing and we all love that, we like dressing nice, looking good and getting the best look we can to please ourselves and even society some times and that is completely fine. On my trip to Colombia a couple weeks ago, I got to see a long time friend. His name is Yeferson and he has his own clothing brand called Vasty. I did not know his mission or the kind of materials he was using for his designs, I just went to the place and got a shirt for myself which I will show you down below

But the thing was, right before I bought it, he started explaining to me how this could change people’s vision of what consumption is, and for me it did. This shirt and the rest of them are made out of cotton, but not any cotton, the one he uses is biodegradable as I already told you. Also, they don’t use pesticides and they don’t destroy the ground to cultivate and produce clothing as many other brands do through importing most of their products and stuff. One of his purposes with this project was also to sell people the insight of what he is doing and let people become his customer thru that path along with the responsible and clean production of clothing, helping the earth and make people more conscious about what are we really doing with our money and what we are supporting. Essentially, he is giving people education on the entire issue along with the nice clothing that they are buying, which is beautiful. To make it little bit clearer the deal is:

So my dear friends, the invitation for all of you is to try to find local or non-local brands that support and promote this idea, so we can start thinking of better living conditions for everything and everyone, because you know what? At the end of the day being a vegan does not necessarily mean that you care for all of the living things that surround us and also this can help lots of bees from extinction that is caused by all those pesticides that are being used for the production of clothing, food, make up, etc.

Have a beautiful day my friends, any comments or questions please let me know, Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!
